Here's the last picture before our return to the Fall series. I think it's my favorite of the summer, based on our outing this passed week to St Louis for a Cardinals/ Pirates game.
A cartoon series based on my sons' imagination and our lives together.

Summer Drawings
While it hasn't been quite as intense as during the school year and we did take a break for vacations, I've still been churning out "notes" based on our stories every Monday morning this summer.
For quite a while, John would wear a pair of antlers on his head, stick himself in a box, and put out a jar for change and start yelling out, "Cheap Moose for Sale!" Eventually he told me a bit of a back story.
John's been kind of obsessed with Presidents and the idea of Presidents this summer. He knows every President on a bill or coin and has created an ongoing storyline with VP John the Mouse and President Mousetroom.
We watched Danny Kaye's "The Inspector General" and it was a huge success.
We've had a lot of rain and quite a bit of flooding in the past couple of weeks. John made up a story about a car deep sea diver boat that came into Pooh and Piglet's house. He also has been singing the theme song from "Singing in the Rain" with an umbrella frequently too.
John made his first meal for our family as the head chef. It was pizza and he was very pleased.
